Delete your StackSplit account
StackSplit is a shared-expenses app by Unsubscribed!. You can delete your account and its data at any time, for free.
In the app
- Open StackSplit and sign in.
- On the groups screen, tap the menu (⋮) in the top bar.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
By email
If you can't use the app, email jcrubioa2@gmail.com from the Google address you use in StackSplit, with the subject "Delete my StackSplit account". We will delete it and reply within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your alias (display name).
- All your device sessions, so every phone is signed out.
- Your personal API key, if you created one.
Deletion is immediate. Server error logs expire after 30 days and database backups after 35 days.
What is kept, and why
Your membership in groups and the expenses you share with them are kept, identified by your email address. They are also the other members' financial records: removing them would change everyone else's balances and history.
Groups and their expenses stay for as long as the group exists. If you sign in again with the same Google account, you will see those groups again. Questions about a specific group? Email us.
